William & Lucia Owen
Mary Ann Owen was born on 20th June 1857, at Frankwell, Shrewsbury to William Owen (a joiner and carpenter) and Louisa Owen (formerly Glover). Both William and Louisa were born in in Shrewsbury.
William and Louisa were married on 5th October 1852 at the Registry Office in Shrewsbury. At the time of their marriage William was 29 years old, a labourer, and lived at Copthorne near Shrewsbury. His father was Robert Owen, a carpenter. Louisa was then 21 years old and lived at Frankwell, Shrewsbury. Her father was Edward Glover (deceased by 1852) who was a labourer.
At the 1861 census William (37) and Louisa (28) were still living at Frankwell, with two daughters, Mary Ann (3) and Selina (1).
